Field Trips to Organizations on the Front Lines of Disaster Work

This field trip is an opportunity for the participants to deepen their understanding of how community-led approaches are conducted in the Philippines. The participants will divided into 3 visiting parties to visit a specific community nearby the venue of the conference. During these visits, participants will have the chance to engage in conversations with local villagers about their experiences and actions related to disaster preparedness. Participants will also interact with local agencies both NGO and local authorities to learn of their good practices and challenges.

Group 1: Interacting with Community Emergency Response Teams in Rosario, Cavite
Group 2: Interacting with PUSOD Inc and their DRR work in Taal Volcano
Group 3: Visit to DRR project in Laguna Province
